In 1988, I stumbled into a small start-up based in Carmichael that developed technology for retail stores. Mick Malaney, President & Co-Founder. Background: Ten years at Sac State, couch surfed, wore a Mervin's suit to first interview; drove thousands of miles introducing technology to retail stores; slept in car and cheap motels; sold a ton of software; got fired; co-founded Big Hairy Dog.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
More like a neighborhood garage, Big Hairy Dog breaks stuff then figures out how to fix it. That way we're ahead of the curve when our customer does the same.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location - employee expansion.
