For over half a century Mueller has prided itself on providing Professional Grooing services & comfortable and Secure Boarding Accommodations to beloved dogs and cats. Mueller's 24 hour on duty Veterinarian, has uniquely offered peace of mind to many owners who prefer the added level of on site medical services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr. Ken Schenck is a California native. He graduated from the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Davis in 1975 and then moved to Iowa to complete an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in 1976. After moving back to California and practicing for a short time in the San Diego area: Dr. Schenck and his wife of 32 years, Charla, moved to Sacramento and purchased Mueller Pet Medical Center (formerly Mueller Animal Hospital) in September of 1977. Dr. Schenck is proud of the expansions and increased services and staff that have been added since that time. Continuing goals would be to provide expanded client service and critical care, with small animal surgery being a special interest. Dr. Schenck and Charla share their life with two cats. He enjoys biking, golf and kayaking in his spare time.

24 Hour Emergency Hospital & Family Veterinarian coupled with full service boarding and grooming services all under one roof provides the convenience and exceptional care that our clients have grown to love.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Mueller intends to expand into a state of the art facility located near the corner of Meadowview and Freeport Blvd by the end of 2010. Thus, allowing for expanded services and community education.

19th Street Becomes Freeport Boulevard.
