How long have you been in business?
20+ years in business accounting principles, financial analysis, internals controls and recommendations on business improvements to strengthen internal controls and reduce costs.
What is your primary product or service?
We deliver accounting, business advisory, bookkeeping and information technology consulting in industries ranging from automobile dealers to professional services firms, and more. We also offer discounted pricing on QuickBooks software and provide QuickBooks installation and training.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Tina M. Cota has served in the accounting field since 1992. She worked for a Big 6 accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand, for approximately 4 years having experience with serving both public and private clients in the areas of financial institutions, private universities, professional services, not-for-profits, real estate companies, insurance and business start-ups.
After leaving the Big 6 accounting firm, Tina worked for a Top 25 accounting firm for 5 years. There, Tina oversaw the completion of clients’ annual reports and interacted with clients to discuss issues for mortgage banking companies, real estate entities, non-profit entities, and other small to medium-sized businesses with revenues ranging from $100,000 to $10 million. In 1999, Tina went to work in private industry where she managed and coordinated all fiscal reporting, human resource and marketing activities for a multi-million dollar business. She worked with the president developing and implementing a strategic vision for the business. During this time, she also implemented a new CRM system resulting in reduction in duplicate sales calls and improved service levels for the company.
