In 1965, Richard Kniesel, Sr. founded Kniesel's Sunrise Automotive with a mission to be recognized as the best choice for auto repair in the Citrus Heights area. Richard Sr. passed his commitment to excellence to his son Gary Kniesel and grandson Brent. We may have changed the name to Kniesel’s Auto Service Centers, but we continue to ensure that honest, quality service and concern for the community guide everything we do.

What is your primary product or service?
We service all makes and models of autos. We provide express services with no appointment necessary which includes oil changes, smog inspections and transmission fluid flushes. We also provide maintenance and repair services for total car care to include engine replacement, brakes, tires, transmission among others.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have three convenient locations to serve our customers. We have auto service centers in Sacramento, Roseville and Citrus Heights.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We serve Sacramento, Citrus Heights and Roseville/Rocklin.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours vary by shop, but generally 7:30 am to 6:00 pm M-F and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday. Closed on Sunday.
