My career began with Merrill Lynch in Boston, Massachusetts where I grew up, graduating from the financial consultant training academy in 1985. In 1990, I tired of shoveling snow and moved to sunny California to study advanced portfolio management and investment management studies. By 1996 I felt I could serve my clients' interests best by becoming an independent Registered Investment Advisor.
